Who does what

A dedicated Funds implementation coordinator provides guidance and support throughout the conversion.

Plan sponsor

The sponsor’s key tasks are to validate the plan installation kit and to verify participant data, as well as communicate with participants about the conversion.

Financial professional

Having worked with Capital Group to initiate the conversion for the sponsor, the financial professional supports the sponsor during the transition – including joining the introductory call and, if applicable, helping with adding funds to the plan.

Authorized third-party administrator (TPA)

Aside from setting up specifications in the TPA plan provision summary, the authorized TPA provides support as needed, such as participating in the introductory call.
