How to access Client Accounts

When you access the Client Accounts section of our website, you’ll be able to check client alerts on your personalized dashboard, review clients’ accounts, complete transactions and more.

To access Client Accounts, you’ll need to be registered on our website with a Capital Ideas Pro™ user name and password and have your login credentials for the DST Vision® website handy. When you sign in, you’ll be prompted to link your Vision credentials to your Capital Ideas Pro login, providing a seamless login process with 2-step verification. Once linked, you’ll only need your Capital Ideas Pro login to access Client Accounts going forward.

To log in, select “Log in to Client Accounts” from the drop-down menu in the top right corner of any page of our website. First, you’ll verify your Capital Ideas Pro user name and enter your password. Then select your role. Assistants should select “Administrative Staff.” For your security and the security of your clients’ accounts, set up 2-step verification by entering your mobile phone number to receive a one-time passcode. We’ll never ask for your passcodes, and for your security, please don’t share them with anyone.

To complete the final step of the linking process, you’ll be redirected to the DST Vision website, where you’ll enter your Vision ID and password. Assistants will need to enter their Affiliate Vision ID and password. DST Vision will also prompt you to verify your identity by receiving a one-time passcode. This process can take a few minutes, so be sure to keep your browser open. Vision credentials should not be shared with your assistant or anyone else.

It’s important that assistants link their own Capital Ideas Pro credentials to their own Affiliate Vision ID. If an assistant links their Capital Ideas Pro credentials to your Vision ID, it will prevent you from being able to link your own Vision ID. If you have more than one Vision ID, you can link them all to your Capital Ideas Pro login to easily manage all clients in one place. To link additional IDs, open the Vision ID drop-down menu and select “Manage Vision IDs.” Going forward, your Capital Ideas Pro user name and password will serve as your login credentials for Client Accounts.
