We recognize that your investment and technology needs continue to evolve, so we have enhanced the part of the website where you log in to access your account, check your balance, make account updates and complete transactions.
On a future visit, you’ll be automatically prompted to create new login credentials to access the new experience, even if you’ve accessed your account online in the past.
Once you log in to your account, you’ll notice an updated design. For details on additional updates, refer to New features/benefits.
The new experience is rolling out to investors in phases, and you will be randomly selected to transition over the coming months.

The new experience has:
Increased account security: Additional layers of security include 2-step verification options and new account notifications whenever there’s activity on your account.
Improved design and layout: Intuitive navigation helps you quickly locate your account balance and returns, your financial professional’s contact information and more.
Enhanced functionality: A streamlined user experience makes it easy to complete investments, exchanges and withdrawals, with additional tax withholding and overnight delivery options. We’ve also improved how you manage automatic transactions, making it easy to apply changes at the account level versus fund by fund.
Yes. To enhance the security of your accounts, when you register your account online, you can request 2-step verification each time you log in. Two-step verification helps to protect your account and identity by requiring a one-time passcode when you log in.
We’ve improved how accounts are grouped online. Now, when you log in, you’ll automatically see all accounts you’re associated with. This means you might notice accounts that were previously accessed through a different login (like an UGMA/UTMA account for a minor) or ones you had to manually add by creating a custom portfolio view.
Yes. Depending on your notification preferences, your new account experience will provide you with new notifications regarding activity on your account. They have been updated with a new layout and now come from Capital Group Account Notifications at Capital_Group_Account_Notifications@service.capitalgroup.com with a subject line that starts with “Account alert” so you can easily identify them in your inbox. Visit Updates to email notifications for more information and to preview a sample of the updated emails.

Additionally, secondary owners on some account types can now create their own login credentials to access their accounts online.
Generally, you will be able to use the same user name. Your password will need to meet our website’s updated password requirements.

Due to this enhancement, the custom portfolio feature is no longer available. In a future enhancement, you’ll have the option to grant online account access to investors who are not listed on your account (for example, a spouse who has an IRA).
