To buy shares by mail, send a check to American Funds Service Company®, made payable to either American Funds Service Company or the fund in which you are investing. For retirement accounts for which Capital Bank and Trust CompanySM (CB&T) is the custodian, please make your check payable to Capital Bank and Trust Company.

Portfolio views enable you to organize and manage different American Funds accounts online. For example, you can create a view that includes accounts tied to a specific goal (e.g., retirement or college) or to specific people (e.g., your accounts, your children’s accounts or your parents’ accounts).
To create a custom view, log in to your account and click Your Portfolio Views near the top of Your Portfolio page. Then select Manage Your Views and follow the on-screen instructions.
To help protect your privacy, some accounts may not be eligible for a custom view. These accounts may include entities, custodial accounts and accounts set up for minors. In these instances, the Your Portfolio View link will not appear. To create a portfolio view, you must first log in with an eligible account.
