Piyada Phanaphat is an equity portfolio manager at Capital Group. She has 21 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 16 years. Earlier in her career at Capital, as an equity investment analyst, she covered Asian energy, cement and small-cap companies. Prior to joining Capital, Piyada worked in corporate finance at J.P. Morgan Hong Kong and as an equity research analyst at UBS Thailand. Piyada holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Piyada is based in Hong Kong.
