Margaret H. Steinbach is the asset class lead for fixed income at Capital and leads the team of investment directors in North America. As an investment director at Capital, Margaret covers core, core plus and government bond strategies. She has 18 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for nine years. Prior to joining Capital, Margaret worked as a portfolio specialist at Oaktree Capital Management. Before that, she was an institutional interest rate salesperson at Bank of America and Royal Bank of Canada. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Margaret is based in New York.
