What I want clients to know about my approach

People have a wide range of emotions when it comes to money, and a big part of my job is navigating sensitive family dynamics with care and understanding. I’m committed to listening without judgment so that I can understand the needs beneath those emotions. Addressing these personal elements can take wealth planning to the next level.

Why I’m at Capital Group Private Client Services

My first job in financial services was at a company that used investment products from many asset managers. But the one I most admired was Capital Group. Every person I interacted with was conscientious and singularly focused on helping my clients. And things look no different from the inside. I am surrounded by smart, thoughtful people who bring their very best to everything they do.

What’s your earliest money memory?

My parents told me at a very young age that they weren’t going to leave me an inheritance. Instead, they wanted to spend their money on education and travel for my sister and me. It’s an example of the kind of clear communication about money that you don’t always see in families. It was an early lesson in transparency as well as the spark for my lifelong interest in travel.

“Often, an important part of my job involves working with the person who is not the primary earner in the relationship and may not be as financially informed. I want to make them feel invested in the process. That means creating a safe space for learning, perhaps sitting down one-on-one so they can ask questions and gain clarity.”
