How my experience informs my work
I have spent much of my career working in trust and estates, helping to guide the financial lives of high net worth families and their beneficiaries. That has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of thoughtful planning — and how the knowledge and dedication of a trusted professional can meaningfully impact the lives of real people. As a Private Wealth Advisor, I draw on all my experience to help clients pursue their goals with confidence.
My earliest investing memories
My interest in finance and investing traces to my father, who worked in the securities industry and purchased an American Funds mutual fund for me when I was a young teen. Every morning, I would open the newspaper to see how the investment fared the previous day. Looking back, it feels like a full-circle moment, given my work with Capital Group today.
How I work with clients
I’ve found there is often a gap between a client’s stated preferences and their unspoken priorities. Their stated goals can reflect the influence of peers or popular opinion, so I try to build deep relationships and ask thoughtful questions to gauge what they truly want. That might mean helping them think through how to structure gifts to their children, plan for the eventual sale of their business or pursue a lifelong goal.
“One of the most rewarding aspects of working with multi-generational families is seeing them experience genuine confidence in their plan, knowing they are positioned to fully enjoy their lives and focus on what matters most to them.”
