My path to Capital Group Private Client Services

Previously, I worked in business development for our parent company’s institutional division. What I loved most about that role was personally connecting with clients, learning their needs and working to solve their challenges. So as I planned out my professional future, I wanted to prioritize that human element, which is what Capital Group Private Client Services is all about.

What makes Capital Group Private Client Services different?

I believe our ability to deliver the high-touch client experience of a boutique firm while harnessing the vast resources of a global investment organization greatly differentiates us. As a privately held company with a singular mission — to improve people’s lives through successful investing — we have the freedom to be thoughtful, thorough and singularly focused on doing what’s right for our clients.

What informs my approach to working with clients?

As soon as I obtained my driver’s license, I got a job and have essentially been financially independent ever since. I paid my way through college and even covered my own wedding. Instead of experiencing this as burdensome, I loved the feeling of independence and autonomy. And I want to give my clients the same sense of being in control of their financial destinies, which I feel has been such a powerful force in my life.
