The value of financial education

Growing up in Slovakia under a restrictive political and economic system, I experienced what it means to have limited financial resources — but also the powerful role education plays in creating opportunity. That foundation enabled me to build a new path in the United States, and still shapes my approach to my work. I particularly value working across generations — supporting not only my clients, but also their children and grandchildren.

How I empower clients

A central part of my work is helping clients take control of their financial decisions. This is especially meaningful when working with women, who have often been excluded from financial conversations. I strive to create a judgment-free environment where clients feel heard and empowered. Through education and thoughtful partnership, I seek to help clients realize strong financial outcomes and a lasting sense of ownership over their wealth.

Lessons I’ve learned from running

In my spare time, I am an avid trail runner, which has some key parallels to investing. Both require discipline, planning and endurance. When running on trails, making sure you haven’t inadvertently diverged from the path is key. Similarly, wealth planning requires a clear and durable strategy that can hold up during different environments. I work very closely with clients to help them stay on track.

“The culture at Capital Group Private Client Services is highly collegial, supportive and collaborative. That makes it a great place to work and benefits clients because that teamwork happens in service to their objectives.”
