Chief Investment Officer and Partner at Cornerstone Wealth Group

Cliff Hodge serves as Chief Investment Officer for Cornerstone Wealth Group where he oversees all aspects of investment due diligence for the firm — focusing on asset allocation research, security analysis and manager due diligence. Cliff also leads the firm’s investment committee and partners with committee members to set the firm’s investment strategy. He brings a passion for the markets and a data-driven process to macroeconomic analysis and portfolio construction.

 

He started in the investment industry in 2008 with Vanguard, and later served as an Investment Analyst for GNI Capital, a long-short hedge fund, and as a Portfolio Manager for FinTrust Capital Partners.

 

Cliff is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder and is active with the CFA Society, serving on the board of the South Carolina CFA Society and as a member of North Carolina CFA Society.  He earned a BA in Economics from Clemson University, and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. In his spare time, Cliff enjoys spending time with family — his wife Lindsey, three children and two dogs. He also likes to travel, mountain bike and watch football.
