Ann Gookin

Managing Director and Head of Investments, Freestone Capital Management

Ann Gookin has served as the managing director of the investment team at Freestone Capital Management since 2019, where she oversees the team’s daily operational functions. She is also a member of Freestone’s leadership team.

 

Ann previously focused on various alternative investment management strategies and co-led Freestone’s due diligence function. Prior to joining Freestone in 2016, Ann spent her career in business operations and strategy roles, the bulk of which was spent with the D. E. Shaw group in New York and in London.

 

Ann is an inaugural member of Ethic’s Client Advisory Council, the tech-driven asset management platform focused on sustainable investing. Ann earned her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 2005. In her spare time, Ann enjoys reading, practicing yoga and spending time outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
