    Overview

    Key information

    Fund Objective
Seeks to provide, over the long term, a high level of total return consistent with prudent investment management through investments primarily in bonds and other debt securities of global issuers. Total return comprises the income generated by the fund and the changes in the market value of the fund's investments.
    Distinguishing Characteristics
A research-intensive strategy, focused on investment-grade global bonds. The fund has the flexibility to seek returns from a variety of sources, including country, credit quality, sector and maturity. It selectively adds exposure to higher yielding bond markets for return diversification and additional income. It may be an ideal complement to Canadian bonds. Foreign currency exposure is hedged back to Canadian dollars to help minimize currency risk. However, there will be circumstances, from time to time, where the level of hedging does not fully cover the foreign currency exposure.
    Portfolio Restrictions
The fund may invest up to 25% of its assets at time purchase in lower rated, higher yielding debt securities rated BB/Ba and below.

Commissions, trailing commissions, management fees and expenses all may be associated with investments in investment funds. Please read the prospectus before investing. The indicated rates of return are the historical annual compounded total returns including changes in unit value and reinvestment of all distributions and do not take into account sales, redemption, distribution or optional charges or income taxes payable by any unitholder that would have reduced returns. Investment funds are not guaranteed or covered by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation or by any other government deposit insurer. For investment funds other than money market funds, their values change frequently. For money market funds, there can be no assurances that the fund will be able to maintain its net asset value per security at a constant amount or that the full amount of your investment in the fund will be returned to you. Past performance may not be repeated.
Capital Group exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are actively managed and do not seek to replicate a specific index. ETF units are bought and sold through an exchange at the then current market price, not net asset value (NAV), and are not individually redeemed from the fund. Units may trade at a premium or discount to their NAV when traded on an exchange. Brokerage commissions will reduce returns. There can be no guarantee that an active market for ETFs will develop or be maintained, or that the ETF's listing will continue or remain unchanged.
The ETFs are prospectus qualified in Canada and are not registered with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and are not intended for distribution in the United States.
There may have been periods when the results lagged the index and/or average. Indices are unmanaged and their results include reinvested distributions but do not reflect the effect of sales charges, commissions, account fees, expenses or income taxes. Investors cannot invest directly in an index.
