Jeff Malbasa is a division manager at Capital Group, home of American Funds. He has 22 years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for eight years. Earlier in his career at Capital, he was a relationship manager. Prior to joining Capital, Jeff was a partner & head of the Cleveland office at HPM Partners. Before that, he was president & chief investment officer at Spero-Smith Investment Advisers, Inc. He holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor’s degree in economics as well as a bachelor’s degree in history, both from Tufts University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Jeff is based in Cleveland, Ohio.
