ESG is woven into our investment process through three tightly integrated components: investment frameworks, monitoring and engagement. The fund’s portfolio* also applies ESG and norms-based screens and has a carbon target.1

Screens
The fund’s portfolio* excludes issuers within certain sectors, as well as those that violate UN Global Compact principles.
Carbon target
The portfolio’s* carbon footprint is also monitored and managed to be generally at least 30% lower than its reference index (MSCI ACWI)1

It has also captured long-term structural growth in excess of MSCI ACWI over the medium and long term.

Over its lifetime of 50 years, the strategy has managed to generate more wealth (in US dollar terms) than an investment in MSCI ACWI, and has demonstrated resilience during market declines.
