ON*Media was the leading content provider and a significant multi-system operator in Korea's rapidly emerging pay television sector. ON*Media controlled the two leading movie channels, a leading children's channel, and two other cable-TV channels in Korea. Additionally, ON*Media was emerging as a major player in the consolidation in Korea of cable-TV system operators which deliver pay-tv services, as well as broadband internet services, to homes via fixed line networks.
