China Homeowner was a US$500 million capitalized company that developed homeownership projects in China. Each project consisted of three main types of building: (i) subsidized housing (residential housing for low-to-medium-income families); (ii) commodity premises (private residential apartments and shops); and (iii) public structure (schools and gardens).
