EOCC had 33%-60% interests in 14 edible oil extraction and/or refining joint ventures (JVs) throughout China. All but one of the 14 JVs were either greenfield constructions or significant expansions of an existing facility through installation of new plants. Most of the Chinese JV partners were either existing edible oil companies or local agencies involved in the production and/or purchasing of oil seeds.
