Ronald B. Morrow is an equity portfolio manager at Capital Group. He has 50 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for 21 years. Earlier in his career, as an equity investment analyst at Capital, Ron covered U.S. small- and mid-cap companies, as well as the food, beverages and tobacco industries. Before joining Capital, he was senior director and head of Capital Markets for Rodman & Renshaw in New York, after spending 11 years at Smith Barney as a managing director in fundamental research. Ron was a senior analyst at Shearson American Express and Security Pacific Investment Managers in Los Angeles. Ron pursued graduate studies in business and finance at the University of Southern California and University of California, Los Angeles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Los Angeles. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, is a fellow of the Financial Analyst Federation, a member and former president of the Consumer Analyst Group of New York, and a member of the Society of Financial Analysts of New York and Los Angeles. Ron is based in Los Angeles.
