Erik Shusted is a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor for Capital Group Private Client Services. He works with high net worth individuals and their families to design customized plans for protecting and growing their wealth, often over multiple generations. Erik also helps nonprofit foundations pursue their long-term financial objectives through effective planning and investment management.
Prior to joining our organization, Erik spent six years at PNC Wealth Management in Atlanta, where he served high net worth clients, with a focus on business owners. Before that, he spent nearly 13 years with Wells Fargo Private Bank and its predecessor firms, working with high net individuals and nonprofit organizations. He grew up in New Jersey and practiced law before transitioning into wealth management.
Erik received his bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College and his law degree from Widener University School of Law. Erik is active in a number of professional and community organizations, and is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bar associations.
