Bill Ring
Senior Vice President, Private Wealth Advisor

Bill Ring is a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor for Capital Group Private Client Services. Bill works directly with high net worth individuals and families to create customized plans for protecting and growing their wealth, often across multiple generations. He also helps nonprofit foundations and endowments to pursue their long-term financial objectives through effective planning and investment management. Bill also serves as a Portfolio Specialist acting as a liaison between the portfolio managers and Private Wealth Advisors within the firm.

Bill started his investment career in 1983 as a registered representative with Dean Witter Reynolds while still a running back for the San Francisco 49ers. He joined our organization in 1999.

Bill earned a BS in finance from Brigham Young University. He is on the board of directors for the Basic Fund based in San Francisco and a member of the Board of Directors for the St. Francis High School Foundation located in Mountain View, CA. He is an emeritus board member of two other charitable organizations: Catholic Charities CYO for the Archdiocese of San Francisco and The Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula.
