Life at Capital Group
Capital Group recently received the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, and ranked 58th among Glassdoor’s 100 Best Places to Work for 2018. The recognition was driven solely by reviews submitted by current and former associates who rated our organization on eight workplace attributes (see below) and shared their perspectives on the pros and cons of working here. This is the first time we’ve received this honor.
In recent years, Glassdoor has grown to become a leading jobs and recruitment site by allowing insiders to anonymously share what it’s like to work for their companies. In determining the honorees for their Best Places to Work list, Glassdoor evaluated feedback shared over the past 12 months for companies with more than 1,000 employees. Capital Group made the list based on, in part, the quality and helpfulness of associates’ reviews, and an overall rating of 4.3 out of a possible 5.

“We’re thrilled to be included among Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work,” says Capital Group President Phil de Toledo. “It’s a reflection of the efforts we’ve been putting in to ensure we have a special and distinct environment, and it’s a credit to all of our associates.”
Phil also highlights Glassdoor’s growing prominence in our communications ecosystem. “This is clearly a great way to make impressions among job seekers and others who want to learn about us,” he says. “We’d love to see many more associates visit the site and leave reviews. They help us attract great talent, and supplement the feedback we receive through other means, like surveys, focus groups and conversations.”
