How to order money market checks

You can order checks for your retail investment account if you invest in American Funds U.S. Government Money Market FundSM, Class A shares. The book of checks will be sent by mail and generally arrive 7 to 10 days after your request is processed.

Yes. Your checks can be sent overnight to a physical address, but not to a P.O. box. Additional fees apply. To send the checks overnight, call us at (800) 421-4225.

Yes, provided the signer is an account owner, trustee or is otherwise authorized by American Funds to use the account. Contact your financial professional or complete the Signature Card Update (PDF) form with a signature guarantee.
