Capital Group joins the United Nations Global Compact

Capital Group has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative — a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices. Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 12,000 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries.

Capital Group has integrated ESG across all of its investment strategies. A key pillar of the firm's approach is its sector-specific investment frameworks, which identify the ESG issues that are likely to be the most material to the long-term success and sustainability of companies.
